On the second day of the vaccination program, another 46,509 people were vaccinated across the country. Of these, 35,843 were male and 10,666 were female.
As many as 512,005 people had registered for the vaccination on Monday (February 8) through the 'Surokkha App' till 6:30 pm.
A total of 77669 people have been vaccinated in the last two days. On the mass vaccination day Sunday (February 7), 31,160 people were vaccinated. Among the recipients 59,700 were male and 17,969 female.
On Monday, Director of the Directorate of Health MIS and Line Director HIS and e-Health Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman signed press release gave this information.
In the last two days, 92 people have reported Adverse Event Following Immunization (EFI). Yesterday, on February 7, 21 people and today, on Monday 8, 71 people reported EFI.
A total of 7178 people were vaccinated on Sunday at 46 vaccination centers, including the Government Medical College Hospital in Dhaka. Among them 5201 were male and 10977 were female. Four of them reported EFI, the press release added.
