A total of 26 lakh 73 thousand 38 people have been vaccinated against corona in 18 days from last February 7 to Wednesday (February 24). Of these, 669 had side effects.
The Directorate of Health said in a regular press release on the vaccine on Wednesday. The vaccination program is being conducted in the country every day from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm.
According to the Directorate of Health, 38 lakh 89 thousand 345 people have registered online to get corona vaccine till 5:55 pm on Wednesday. Of the total vaccine recipients, 17 lakh 46 thousand 132 were males and 9 lakh 26 thousand 906 were females.
Among the vaccinated 60,740 from Dhaka division, 7,860 from Mymensingh division, 37,074 from Chittagong division, 18,179 from Rajshahi division, 16,612 from Rangpur division, 24,838 from Khulna division and 8,394 from Barisal division and 8 thousand 288 people of Sylhet division.
On Wednesday, 27,857 people were vaccinated in Dhaka metropolis. Of these, 17,993 were males and 9,834 were females.
