Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is among the top three leaders in the 54 Commonwealth Heads of Government.
This information was given in a press release sent from the Bangladesh High Commission in London on Friday (March 5).
Last Thursday (March 4), Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland QC called the three women "extraordinary women's leadership and deep inspiration" in a special announcement on the occasion of International Women's Day 2021.
Special mention was made of their successful leadership in their respective countries in dealing with the coronavirus.
The Secretary-General of the Commonwealth said that she would like to mention three extraordinary leaders among the Commonwealth countries. They are the Prime Minister of New Zealand Jessica Arden, the Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Amor Motley and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina. They have the signature of extraordinary leadership in their respective countries in tackling the Corona pandemic.
These three personalities, along with many other women around the world, have inspired me to build a world in which the combined future and well-being of all, men and women, is guaranteed and secure.
