Instructions to observe March 25 & 26 in Madrasas

Technical and madrasa educational institutions of the country have been instructed to observe genocide on March 25 and Independence Day on March 26.

On Tuesday (March 23)a directive signed by Madrasa Board Registrar Siddiqur Rahman has been issued in this regard.

It has been said that according to the instructions from the Technical and Madrasa Division of the Ministry of Education, genocide day should be observed on March 25 and the great Independence Day on March 26. Various programs have been undertaken in technical and madrasa educational institutions to celebrate these two special days. The heads of all madrasas and technical educational institutions have been instructed to implement these programs.

These programs include: Schools / Colleges / Madrasas and all educational institutions to hold a memorial discussion meeting on March 25 in the voice of eminent personalities / valiant freedom fighters. The national flag should be hoisted in government, semi-government, autonomous and private buildings. Morning parades, student rallies at educational institutions, performance of national anthems and sports competitions will be organized at all divisional, district and upazilla levels of the country. All educational institutions have been asked to organize various events highlighting the significance of Independence and National Day, including organizing essay and debate competitions at the national level.

Meanwhile, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has instructed all schools and colleges of the country to observe these two important days this week.
