1 lakh corona cases detected in last 16 days in the country

The global pandemic of coronavirus in the country is breaking records every day. The procession of death is getting longer and longer. So far, corona infection has been detected in 7 lakh 3 thousand 170 people in the country. In the last 16 days (March 30 to April 14) 1 lakh patients have been identified.

Earlier, it took less than 30 days to identify 1 lakh patients in July last year.

On Wednesday (April 14), going through the information of the Directorate of Health, such a picture was seen.

After reviewing the data of the Health Directorate, it was found that the first corona patient was identified on March 8 last year. Three months later, on June 17, the number of patients identified exceeded one lakh. Exactly one month later, on July 17, the number of corona patients stood at 200,000.

The next one lakh patients were identified in one month and 9 days, without the number of patients identified on August 26, 3 lakh. It took two months for the number of identified patients to reach 4 lakh. And it takes 55 days to reach 5 lakhs.

After that the infection was somewhat reduced and the next one lakh patients were identified after 102 days. On March 29, the number of identified patients exceeded 7 lakh.

The second wave of coronavirus infections in the country has led to an increase in infections and deaths, creating a worrying situation. The number of patients identified on a daily basis after March 29 has not dropped below five thousand even once. Of these, a record number of 6,626 patients were identified on April 6 which is the most recognizable so far in one day.

Bangladesh ranks 33rd in the world in the list of countries affected by corona. The number of patients diagnosed with corona in the country is now 7 lakh 3 thousand 170 people. 9987 people died in corona.
