Covid-19 infected BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has been shifted to the CCU of Evercare Hospital in Dhaka on Monday (May 3) afternoon, as she is having breathing problems.
Multiple doctors of the medical board confirmed the matter to Barta24.com.
The 10-member medical board formed for the treatment of Khaleda Zia sat in a meeting on Sunday. The board examined medical test reports to know the latest physical condition of the BNP chief. After reviewing the reports, they suggested to do few more tests at the hospital.
Khaleda Zia tested positive for Coronavirus on April 10. She had taken treatment under the supervision of her personal physicians, led by respiratory medicine expert Prof Dr FM Siddiqui.
Later, on April 27, she was admitted to Evercare Hospital and a 10-member medical board was formed led by Professor Dr. Shahabuddin Talukdar.
