A Dhaka court granted Hefazat-e-Islam former joint secretary general Maulana Mamunul Haque on another five-day remand in two sabotage cases filed with Paltan police station.
Metropolitan Magistrate Satyabrata Sikder passed the remand order on Tuesday (May 4) after hearing.
Police produced Mamunul Haque before the court with another 17-day remand plea in two cases filed with Paltan police station on charge of creating anarchy at Baitul Mokarram in March.
After concluding the hearing the court granted five-day remand for Mamunul Haque.
Mamunul Haque was arrested from Jamia Rahmania Arabia Madrasah in Mohammadpur on April 18.
