The government has appointed three prominent people of the country as national professors.
The Ministry of Education has issued a notification in this regard on Thursday (May 6).
They are: Former Vice Chancellor and Emeritus Professor of Chottogram University Alamgir Mohammad Sirajuddin, President of Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BIRDEM) AK Azad Khan and President of Bangladesh Gastroenterology Society Professor Dr. Mahmud Hasan.
