The World Health Organization (WHO) has approved the emergency use of the coronavirus vaccine invented by the pharmaceutical company Synopharm.
The World Health Organization is the first country outside the West to approve the use of vaccines made in any country. China has already supplied Synopharm vaccine to its own country and 45 more countries around the world.
So far the World Health Organization has approved the use of corona vaccines made by Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna.
However, health care regulators in several countries - particularly in poor countries in Africa, Latin America and Asia - have already approved Chinese vaccines for emergency use.
