Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive seized a truck with 56 KG hemp from the capital's Jatrabari on Friday (May 7) night.
RAB operated the drive around 10:30 pm at Dania of Jatrabari and also arrested two drug dealers from the spot in connection with drug smuggling.
Arrested drug dealers were identified as Md. Abdul Halim, 41 and Md. Sharif Ahmed, 40. A truck, two mobile phone sets and Tk 9,900 were also seized from their possessions.
During primary interrogation, two arrestees said they are professional drug dealers. They supply drugs in the capital including Jatrabari.
A case was filed in the connection.
