At least two people were killed and 14 others injured in a road accident in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi on Saturday (May 8) morning.
Sources said a truck ran over 16 people at a rice mill beside the road by losing control over the steering leaving two people dead on the spot and wounded 14 others.
Injured were rushed to Godagari upazila hospital and Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
Confirming the matter, Godagari police station officer-in-charge Khalilur Rahman Patwari said police detained the truck driver and seized the killer truck.
A case will be filed in this connection, he added.
