The Directorate of Health sees the Eid journey in Corona as a matter of great concern. The directorate said there is no reason to be so complacent. The way people are rushing from the capital to the villages ahead of Eid and the situation that has been created along the way is extremely worrying and alarming. The situation could get worse at any time after Eid.

Nazmul Islam, one of the spokesperson of the Health Directorate expressed this concern in an online bulletin on Sunday (May 9).

Incidentally, for 9 consecutive days from the first day of this month, the detection rate of corona infection is below 10 percent.

Nazmul Islam said, ‘We have come to the place through the efforts of all, if relaxation is shown here; If people continue to travel like this in a huddle, then the situation can go from good to bad at any time after Eid. We have this fear. And because there is, the Directorate of Health is repeatedly emphasizing the restrictions. '

He added, ‘Indian variants of Corona have been identified in the country. There are concerns about this all over the country. If we can deal with it without fear, it will be possible to maintain the current stable situation. People from India have to strictly ensure 14 days of institutional quarantine.

The second wave of coronavirus infection has been going on in the country since last March. However, the infection has been declining since mid-April. For the ninth day in a row yesterday, the patient identification rate was below 10 percent.
