Police arrested 31 people from various spots of the capital on charge of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Barta24.com on Monday (May 10).
Police arrested them from 6:00 am on Sunday to Monday morning with drugs as part of their regular drive.
A total of 1,415 pieces of yaba, 40 gram heroine and 3.35 KG hemp and 11 bottles phensedyl were seized from their possessions.
Twenty six cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under narcotic control act.
