Five lakh doses of coronavirus vaccine donated by China has reached Dhaka.

On Wednesday (May 12) morning, a special flight of the Air Force carrying the vaccines and AD syringes given by Synofarm-C-130J landed at Bangabandhu Air Base in kurmitola. Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masih Uzzaman Serniabat and other officials of the Directorate of Health received the donation vaccine.

It will be officially handed over to the Ministry of Health at noon.

An Air Force plane arrived at Beijing International Airport on Tuesday (May 11) to bring Chinese Synoform produced vaccines to Dhaka to bring corona under control.

Health Minister Zahid Malik said the government initially wanted to buy 4 to 5 crore doses of vaccine from China.

Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jiming said that the WHO has approved the Chinese vaccine. The Bangladesh government also has approved the Chinese vaccine, which is a far-sighted decision.
