Biden has come under fire from Democrats over his stance on the Israeli-Palestinian issue.

The Democratic Party came to power with a promise of social and racial justice after defeating former President Trump, CNN said in an analysis on Sunday (May 16). So it is very uncomfortable for this group to come and speak for Israel at this time. The United States has voted to change the history of racism and discrimination, and has embraced the Black Lives Matter movement.

Left liberal members believe that the United States should apply the same concept of justice in foreign policy. Many now see Israel's behavior in Palestine as racist. So they demanded that something be done to put pressure on Israel.

Outspoken liberals have criticized the White House for provoking Israel and spreading violence in defiance of human rights. Biden's failure to oppose the planned eviction of Palestinians from East Jerusalem has drawn sharp criticism from within his own party.

Biden spoke Saturday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Democrats have advised the president to get deeply involved in the issue.

Biden has expressed concern about the safety of journalists in the wake of Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, which destroyed several media outlets, including AP and Al Jazeera.

Liberals, however, said the statement alone is not enough, and that the situation should be discussed directly with Israel.

At the White House last week, the president said, "As far as I've seen, there's been no significant response.

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin spoke with Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Saturday. "I reaffirm that Israel is defending itself, they have that right," Austin said on Twitter. I condemn that Hamas is deliberately targeting Israeli civilians.

A common justification spoken on behalf of Israel on the Palestinian-Israeli issue is that Israel has the right to self-defense. President Biden said the same thing last Wednesday. Liberals then protested in the lower house of the US House of Representatives.

Al Jazeera reported that at least 180 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip in the past week. Of these, 52 are children. On the other hand, more than a thousand people were injured. To the contrary, only 10 people have died in Israel so far, including two children.

Influential Senator Barney Sanders has been the most vocal on the Israeli-Palestinian issue. He has always been critical of the Biden administration. He also wrote in an op-ed published in the New York Times last Friday that the United States must stop speaking in favor of the Netanyahu government.
