Bangladesh Muktijuddo Mancha(BMM) formed human chain and burnt the effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanding an end to attacks on innocent Palestinians.

The BMM on Sunday (May 16) formed human chain and burnt the effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the foot of the Raju sculpture at Dhaka University, demanding an immediate end to Israeli naked attacks on Palestinians. Aminul Islam Bulbul, president of the organization, presided over the human chain and protest rally conducted by general secretary of the organization Al Mamun. Also present were prominent sculptor Rasha, joint general secretary of the organization Shuvro Mahmud, Dhaka University branch president Sonnet Mahmud and other prominent leaders.

Speaking at the human chain and protest rally, Aminul Islam Bulbul, president of the central committee of the Bangladesh BMM said that the barbaric attacks of the Israeli forces on the innocent people of Palestine must be stopped immediately. Naked attacks by Israeli forces on Palestine have claimed the lives of hundreds of Palestinians. Israeli forces have committed the most heinous crime by attacking the Muslim holy mosque, Al-Aqsa. The international community was called upon to stand by the Palestinian people.

Central Committee General Secretary Al Mamun said, "We are deeply concerned about the way in which Israeli forces have carried out naked attacks on innocent Palestinians,". They have openly committed crimes against humanity. We never support such a despicable act. About 150 Palestinians have recently been brutally murdered in clear violation of international human rights law. Hundreds of Palestinian women and children are fighting with death in hospitals. The silence of the OIC and the Arab League has hurt us.

The BMM has demanded the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of crimes against humanity and his trial at the International Criminal Court. At the same time, Palestine must be given full independence. We express our full support and solidarity with the Palestinian freedom movement. World public opinion must be formed against the terrorism of the Israeli forces. The speakers  called upon the world community, including the United Nations, to take a strong stand against this brutal attack. Otherwise, Bangladesh Muktijuddha Mancha will announce a tougher program.
