A man and a child died by the impact of cyclonic storm Yass in Kalma union under Lalmonhan upazila and Monpura of Bhola on Tuesday night.
Deceased Abu Taher was killed as a tree blew away on him and child Lamia drowned in pond water.
Confirming the matter, Lalmohan police station officer-in-charge Maksudur Rahman Murad said bodies were handed over to the families.
Low land areas of Bhola’s Monpura, Kazirchar, Kolatolir Char, Dhalchar and Char Nizam inundated due to cyclonic storm Yass.
