Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said the door of Awami League is closed forever for the people who do not contain the spirit of the Liberation War and birth of Bangladesh.
He said this at a financial assistance distribution program among artists on behalf of the prime minister organized by Awami league cultural affairs Sub-Committee at Bangabandhu avenue this morning.
Obaidul Quader joined the meeting through online from his official residence in the capital.
Awami League cultural Affairs Sub-Committee Chairman Ataur Rahman presided over the program while its member secretary Ashim Kumar Ukil, Awami League Office Secretary Barrister Biplob Barua were present, among others.
Mentioning that facing Covid-19 and communal forces is a big challenge for the government, Obaidul Quader said BNP is the patronizer of the communal forces. It has to be faced unitedly.
He also urged cultural activists to work unitedly to uproot communal forces in the country.
Obaidul Quader urged the authorities concerned to give financial assistance to jobless artists amid the corona pandemic.
