Prime minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the 14-storey Dak Bhaban, the new administrative headquarters of the Bangladesh Postal Directorate having all the modern facilities, at Agargaon in the city on Thursday.
She opened the Dak Bhaban through video conference from her official Ganabhaban residence in the capital.
Sheikh Hasina said a developed and favorable working environment has been created for the employees of the postal directorate with the inauguration of the Dak Bhaban.
She also released memorial postal stamps, marking the grand opening of the Dak Bhaban.
Postal and Telecommunication Minister Mostafa Jabbar presided over the program at Agargaon end.
