Police arrested 46 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Barta24.com on Thursday (June 3).
Police arrested them from 6:00 am on Wednesday to Thursday morning with drugs as part of their regular drive.
A total of 15,029 pieces of yaba, 23.5 gram heroine, 5.29 gram hemp and 15 bottles phensidyle were seized from their possessions.
Thirty three cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under narcotic control act.
