Two workers were killed after being struck by lightning in two separate incidents in Bangala and Boropangasi union under Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Selim Reza, 30, son of late Abdur Rahim of Parmordah village of Bangala union and Abdul Alim, 37, son of Lalchan Mia of Haora village of Boropangasi union.
Confirming the matter Ullapara upazila nirbahi officer Dewan Moudud Ahmed said 20 thousand taka will be given to the deceased family.
