Police arrested 63 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Barta24.com on Sunday (June 13).
Police arrested them from 6:00 am on Saturday to Sunday morning with drugs as part of their regular drive.
A total of 3,034 pieces of yaba, 40 gram heroine, 43.53 kg hemp and 20 liters local liquor were seized from their possessions.
Forty five cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under narcotic control act.
