Police arrested 22 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Barta24.com on Sunday (July 4).
Police arrested them from 6:00 am Saturday to Sunday morning with drugs as part of their regular drive.
A total of 1,411 pieces of yaba, 337 gram heroine and 930 gram hemp were seized from their possessions.
Eighteen cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under narcotic control act.
