Police arrested 32 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Barta24.com on Tuesday (July 5).
Police arrested them from 6:00 am Monday to Tuesday morning with drugs as part of their regular drive.
A total of 2,752 pieces of yaba, 182.5 gram heroine, 470 gram hemp, 48 cans bear and 4 bottles of local liquor were seized from their possessions.
Twenty three cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under narcotic control act.
