Police arrested 38 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Barta24.com on Friday (July 9).
Police arrested them from 6:00 am Thursday to Friday morning with drugs as part of their regular drive.
A total of 567 pieces of yaba, 300 gram heroine and 8.63 Kg hemp were seized from their possessions.
Twenty six cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under narcotic control act.
