Police arrested 26 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Barta24.com on Saturday (July 24).
Police arrested them from 6:00 am Friday to Saturday morning with drugs as part of their regular drive.
A total of 1,326 pieces of yaba, 433 gram heroine and 4.35 Kg hemp were seized from their possessions.
Eighteen cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under narcotic control act.
