A total of 509 people were died of coronavirus at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in July which made a record by the delta variant in the western districts of the country.
Meanwhile, seventeen more people died of at corona unit at the hospital in the last 24 hours.
All of them died from 8:00 am Wednesday to 8:00 am Thursday.
Confirming the matter, RMCH director Brig Gen Shamim Yeasdani said five of the deceased were corona positive, two were corona negative and 10 others were with corona symptoms.
Of the deceased, four from Rajshahi, five from Pabna, three from Natore, two from Kushtia and one from Chapainawabganj, Bogura and Naogaon district respectively, he added.
