Police arrested 21 people from various spots of the capital on charges of drug dealing and peddling in separate drives during the last 24 hours.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to Barta24.com on Sunday (August).
Police arrested them from 6:00 am Saturday to Sunday morning with drugs as part of their regular drive.
A total of 3,676 pieces of yaba, 16.25 Kg hemp and 301 gram heroine, 76 cans bear and 61 bottles foreign liquor were seized from their possessions.
Fourteen cases were filed with respective police stations in this regard under narcotic control act.
