The interest of buyers to buy products of Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) is increasing day by day. People are waiting for hours together at the spot despite knowing the suffering of buying goods from TCB trucks in different places of the capital. Even if they don't get the product at the end of the suffering, they are coming to buy the goods the next day just like before. Suddenly, many people are stopping their journey after seeing the trucks selling TCB products on the road and standing in the serial to buy the products.

On the spot on Saturday (October 9), various places in the capital were visited and shoppers were standing in long lines long before the scheduled time to buy goods in TCB trucks. They are not moving from the line for fear of losing their place even if their body gets wet in the sudden rain. But the truck with the goods arrived at noon a little before evening. As a result, women and the elderly are suffering from standing in line for a long time. In the scorching heat, many people started shouting and screaming as they pushed the line. Many are seen returning empty-handed even after standing in long lines as the goods are less than the demand in the truck.

Rahima Begum, 55, who was waiting in line in front of the Chapra Mosque in Tejgaon area to buy goods from a TCB truck, said, "I have been standing in line since 2pm hoping to buy goods." It is now more than 4 o'clock, but there is no news of the truck coming. I don't even know when it will come. It comes after the Asar prayer. Let's stand and see if we can take the product.

However, the goods in the truck are much less than the demand. That is why many people cannot buy products even while standing in line, she said.

A man named Ashraful expressed his displeasure as he could not buy the product after standing in line for a long time. I will keep it standing and then suddenly I will say go to the end.

A young man named Rafiq, who was able to come to the line in a hurry to buy the product, said, "You see, I would not have got it if I had not gone that way." What amount of product is allocated, and what brings. Who will I catch if I sell it before I come? I got it.

But Russell, an employee who measures the goods on the truck said, "We come on time." How do we give if we don't get enough products? There is a demand for more products every day but people will be more. Many people do not want to take all the items in trouble.

At present the price of one liter of soybean oil in the market is Tk. 150 to 160. TCB's truck is giving Tk. 100 per liter of oil. This saves about Tk. 120 to Tk. 130 in 2 liters of oil. Tk. 90 to Tk. 110 per kg costs in pulses market. Pulses are available in TCB trucks at Tk. 55 per kg. Tk. 76 to Tk. 80 per kg sugar is in market while Tk. 55 per kg in TCB truck. Each person can buy 2 liters of oil, 2 kg of pulses and 2 kg of sugar from a TCB truck. It saves at least 200 to 250 rupees.

Officials say the abnormal rise in prices of daily necessities has made it difficult for middle and lower-middle class families to make ends meet. The prices of many products are still rising. In this situation people are rushing to buy TCB products.

According to TCB sources, from Wednesday (October 6), TCB is selling soybean oil, lentils, sugar and onions at affordable prices across the country, including the capital. These activities are going on in different places of the capital through mobile trucks. At TCB's truck sell, common people can stand in line and purchasing suger at Tk. 55 per kg, lentils at Tk. 55 per kg, onion at Tk. 30 per kg and soybean oil Tk. 100 per liter.
