So far 5 crore 47 lakh 29 thousand 461 doses of corona vaccines have been administered in the country.
The information was learnt from a press release issued by the Directorate of Health on Sunday (October 10).
It has been said that so far 6 crore 95 lakh 72 thousand 420 doses have reached the country. Of these, 5 crore 47 lakh 29 thousand 461 doses have been vaccinated. In other words, there are one crore 48 lakh 42 thousand 959 doses of vaccine in stock.
So far, the first dose has been given to 3 crore 65 lakh 99 thousand 140 people and the second dose has been given to 1 crore 81 lakh 30 thousand 321 people.
To combat corona infection in the country, vaccines of Oxford AstraZeneca, Chinese-made Sinopharm, Pfizer and Moderna varieties have been used.
