The students of Dhaka University (DU) have lifted the blockade from the Shahbagh intersection in the capital with a 24-hour ultimatum in protest of the attack on temples and puja mandaps in different parts of the country.
On Monday (October 18), protesters blocked the Shahbagh intersection in the capital from 10:30am to 2:00pm.
The traffic from Shahbagh to Paltan, Science Lab, Bangla Motor and TSC was stopped due to the blockade.
The agitating students said that seven points were demanded from the protest to demand justice in this incident.
If the demands are not met, a strict program will be announced, the protesters said.
