New rules have been issued for performing holy Umrah, saluting the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and performing Haram and Nawabi prayers in the mosque. The new rules make it easier to perform Umrah and perform prayers in the two holy mosques.
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said in a new announcement on Monday night (October 18) that it would no longer have to wait 15 days for Umrah to be approved. If you want, you can apply for the permission of Umrah again after one Umrah. Similarly, intenders will be able to get a permit to perform prayers in Reazul Jannat again and again.
According to the previous rules, it was not permissible to perform Umrah for the second time within 15 days after performing Umrah once and for performing the second prayer within 30 days after performing the prayers once in Riazul Jannat.
On October 15, King Salman of Saudi Arabia appointed Tawfiq al-Rabia as Minister of Hajj and Umrah. Earlier, he was the Health Minister. Meanwhile, since the time of Fazr prayers on October 18, Musallis have been praying shoulder to shoulder in the two holy mosques at full capacity. 1 lakh Musallis are getting permission to perform Umrah every day.
A severe lockdown began in Saudi Arabia in March last year after the first coronavirus infection was detected. As part of the lockdown, the Masjid -e- Haram and the Masjid- e- Nawabi were completely closed. Although the mosques were opened seven months later in October, prayers were performed at a safe physical distance with less than the total capacity.
The ban was lifted on Sunday (October 17) during the Fzzr prayers. Now the Musallis are performing prayers without maintaining physical distance. However, everyone has to wear a mask to enter the mosque.
The Saudi Interior Ministry said in a statement that although the mosque was operating at full capacity, access to the two holy mosques would still be required through the Health Ministry's Itamarna and Tawakkalna apps.
Currently, only those who have received two doses of the coronavirus vaccine are allowed to enter the mosque.
