Flag hoisting: Permission sought to file case against Pakistan team

Prayer has been made to file a case in the court against the Pakistan cricket team for hoisting the Pakistani flag on the field without the permission of the government.

Mohammad Al Mamun, general secretary of the Bangladesh Muktijuddha Manch, filed the prayer in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Bakar Siddique in Dhaka on Thursday (November 25).

The judge accepted the plaintiff's statement and said that he would pass an order later.

The accused are Pakistan cricket team captain Mohammad Babar Azam, Coach Saqlain Mostaq, manager Mansoor Rana, Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Harris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Iftekhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim and Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shahin Shah Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Shahnewaz Dahani, Osman Qadir and Shahid Aslam.
