Dhaka: A fire broke out in a polythene factory on the ground floor of a 4-storey building at Mahuttuli in Old Dhaka. 12 units of fire service were working to bring the fire under control.
The information was given to Barta24.com on Saturday (February 12) night by the officer in charge of the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defense Md. Shahjahan Sikder.
He said the fire service received the news of the fire in the polythene factory on the ground floor of the 4-storey building at Mahuttuli in Old Dhaka at 11.30pm. The first unit arrived at 11:42. He said 12 units were working to control the fire.
The cause of the fire and no casualties were reported, he added.
