Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address public meetings in five districts today as part of Awami League's campaign in connection with the upcoming 12th Jatiya Sangsad elections.
On Thursday (December 21) at 3 pm, she will address the public meetings from the Dhaka District Awami League building in Tejgaon of the capital.
Awami League has informed this information in a circular.
According to the notification, on Thursday, party president Sheikh Hasina will address the election rallies of Panchagarh and Lalmonirhat in Rangpur division, Natore and Pabna in Rajshahi division and Khagrachari in Chattogram division.
Party leader Sheikh Hasina has started an election campaign through a public meeting in Sylhet on Wednesday (December 20).
Sheikh Hasina will visit Barishal on December 29. The Awami League president will address the election public meeting at Barishal district headquarters at 3 pm that day.
Then on December 30 (Saturday) Sheikh Hasina will speak in Gopalganj-3 constituencies (Tungipara and Kotalipara) and Madaripur-3 election public meetings.
It should be noted that the Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal announced the election schedule on November 15. According to the schedule, the last date for submission of nomination forms for the election candidates was 30th November, scrutiny of nomination papers was from 1 to 4 December, appeal and disposal of nominations was from 6 to 15th December, last date for withdrawal of candidature was 17th December, allotment of symbols was 18th December, election campaign -Campaign will run from December 18th to January 5 at 8 am and voting will be held on January 7.
