The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification for the appointment of 838 executive magistrates in the country around the upcoming 12th Jatiya Sangsad elections. They will operate the mobile courts from January 5 to January 9.
A notification in this regard has been issued on Friday (December 29).
According to the notification, these executive magistrates will conduct the mobile courts from January 5 to January 9. They will join the concerned district administrators on January 4. Before this they will be trained.
These Executive Magistrates who have been appointed will look after the code of conduct and give direction to the crime prevention, overall law and order maintenance, mobile court and striking force especially BGB, Coast Guard and Armed Forces teams.
As per the schedule announced by the EC, campaigning is now underway after the allotment of symbols to the candidates participating in the elections which will end on January 5. Voting will be conducted through transparent ballot boxes from 8 am to 4 pm on January 7.
