A three-member delegation from the Election Commission of India reached Dhaka on Friday to observe 12th national parliamentary election to be held on January 7.
More than 100 foreign observers reached Dhaka on in recent days to monitor Sunday's general election, boycotted by BNP, which has called for a 48-hour countrywide hartal.
Foreign Ministry officials said all together 127 foreigners have scheduled to come. Besides, 73 foreign journalists have received accreditations, and 17 have already arrived.
He said the observers will monitor the polls in the capital, Dhaka, and elsewhere in the country.
