President on a 3-day visit to Pabna

President Md. Sahabuddin reached his home district Pabna for the third time on a three-day official visit.

On Tuesday (January 16) at 2:10 PM, the President arrived at Pabna's Ishwardi Airport by helicopter from Dhaka.

The President received the guard of honor at Pabna Circuit House around 3 o'clock on the road from Ishwardi Airport.

Deputy Commissioner Muha. Asaduzzaman confirmed this.

Md. Sahabuddin has gone to his district Pabna for the third time after assuming office of the President. Earlier on Monday (January 15), the helicopter carrying the President returned to Dhaka due to inclement weather. As a result, yesterday's program was postponed.

On Wednesday (January 17) at 11 am, the President will attend some local events. Back to Circuit House around 1 PM. Overnight stay at Circuit House again. On January 18, around 1:40 PM, he will leave for Dhaka by helicopter from Pabna.

Pabna Deputy Commissioner Muha. Asaduzzaman said that all preparations have been made for the President's visit to Pabna. The administration is working to ensure that his visit to Pabna ends in a smooth and peaceful manner.

It may be noted that the President visited his home district Pabna for the second time on September 27 last year for a three-day visit. On the second day of the tour, on September 28, he attended the final ceremony of the boating competition at Santhia in Pabna as the chief guest. Later, the President interacted with local journalists including laying the foundation stone of the 500-bed Pabna Medical College Hospital, also attending the Pabna Diabetic Association event.

The President came to his home district Pabna on a four-day visit on May 15. On the second day of the visit, he was accorded a grand civic reception at Pabna Government Edward College ground on May 16.
