President Md. Shahabuddin walked around the various memorable haunts of his hometown Pabna.
On Tuesday (January 16) evening, he walked around the town.
On this day around 7:30 pm he went from Pabna Circuit House to Pabna Diabetic Association, one of his hangouts. After staying there for a few minutes, he walked to another hangout, Lakshmi Sweets Store.
From there, around 8:30 PM, he visited Paradise Sweets and went to Pabna Press Club, a beloved organization full of memories. He stayed there for several minutes. Then he returned back to the Circuit House in the designated car of the President. He was accompanied by local friends and activists.
Earlier, the President reached Pabna on a four-day visit at around 3 pm. He was scheduled to arrive on Monday (January 15) for a four-day visit, but Monday's visit was canceled due to inclement weather.
Ishwardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer Subir Kumar Das confirmed that the helicopter carrying the President landed at Pabna's Ishwardi Airport at 2:10 PM on the second day of the visit, Tuesday (January 16), due to favorable weather conditions.
Then the convoy carrying him left for Pabna Circuit House by road. The fleet reached the circuit house at 3 p.m. A Guard of Honor was given to the 22nd head of state there. After resting at the end of the Guard of Honor, head out for an evening tour of his favorite memorial spots.
It is mentioned in the letter signed by the Protocol Officer of the President's Office on January 14, Muhammad Mamunul Haque, that the President will reach Pabna by helicopter from Dhaka on January 15 at 12:40 PM. At 12:50 p.m. Arrival at the helipad at Advocate Amin Uddin Stadium. Then rest after Guard of Honor at Circuit House. Staying overnight at Circuit House.
The next day on January 16 at 11 am will attend some local events in Pabna. Travel to Circuit House around 1 PM. Overnight stay at Circuit House again. Then on January 17 around 11 am will participate in the local program. Leave for circuit house around 1 pm. Overnight stay at Circuit House again. On January 18, around 1:40 p.m., the helicopter will leave for Dhaka from Pabna.
Several sources in the administration said that the schedule of the four-day state visit will change due to the cancellation of the first day's visit.
