According to TCB, on the initiative of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, under the overall guidance of the Ministry of Commerce, the sale of TCB products such as rice, edible oil and pulses at subsidized prices among one crore low-income beneficiary card-holding families is ongoing. Soybean oil or rice bran oil, lentils and rice will be sold at subsidized prices to 1 crore family card-holding low-income families across the country in January.

According to the instructions, in the month of January, a family card holder can buy a maximum of 2 kg of lentils at the rate of Tk. 60 per kg, 5 kg of rice at the rate of Tk. 30 per kg and 2 liters of soybean oil or rice bran oil at the rate of Tk. 100.
