A view exchange meeting between the new come Police Superintendent Morshed Alam and local journalists was held at today(Thursday)at the office of Superintendent of Police Faridpur. At this time, journalists from various media outlets of Faridpur and members of Faridpur Press Club were present.

In the exchange meeting, the Superintendent of Police said that police and journalists in Faridpur complement each other. And so he requested for cooperation of the journalists.
He presented various aspects of his career to the journalists. At this time, he requested for full cooperation of the journalists and said that you are the mirror of the society and you show the various aspects of the society through your writings. You know all the issues of this district.
He discussed various social problems of the society with the journalists. And expressed his opinion about what can be done to prevent it.
He presented his work methods to the journalists to eradicate various problems of the society such as theft, robbery, drugs, eve-teasing and other criminal activities.
He said as long as I stay in Faridpur, no people of Faridpur will be deprived of legal assistance. I will work on that. He sought the cooperation of journalists to prevent disharmony in the society and at the same time urged journalists to cooperate with information in this regard.
