Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, the path shown by Bangabandhu is our path. He gave us freedom. Even if he is not alive, the legacy he left with freedom will never die. His legacy will live on for life.
He said these things after paying tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait at Dhanmondi Road number 32 on Sunday (March 17) morning.
Obaidul Quader said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was blessed with giving birth to a brave pregnant mother of Tungi Para to bring our long-awaited freedom. He freed the first Bengali nation from the shackles of subjugation and created the independent entity of Bangladesh.
Awami League General Secretary said, today he is not with us but he is always a source of inspiration. He will be our path, be our beacon in all our troubles. He will be our guide, the only beacon of Bengali misery.
