Minister of Land asked the AC Land to provide land services with sincerity

Land Minister Narayan Chandra Chanda directed the Assistant Commissioners (AC) of Land to provide land services to the beneficiaries through sincerity and good behavior. He also instructed to listen carefully to the problems of land service recipients and advise them in applicable cases.

He gave this order while addressing as the chief guest at the closing and certificate distribution ceremony of the 36th and 37th Basic Land Management Course held at the Land Administration Training Center in Nilkhet, capital, on Monday (April 1). Land Secretary Md. Khalilur Rahman was present as the special guest.

In his speech, the Land Minister emphasized that the beneficiaries should be able to receive the services within a reasonable period of time in return for a fair fee fixed by the government.

The Minister told AC Land that one's land should not be registered illegally by others. Always be careful to protect public and private land. He told the trainees that feedback on the work of the AC Land will be received after a few days of deployment in the field.

Land Secretary Md. Khalilur Rahman told AC Land that the work of providing land services at the field level is being closely monitored through the dashboard. Necessary action will be taken by checking the progress of the work on the dashboard.

Under the chairmanship of Director of Land Administration Training Center, Md. Arif, officials of Land Ministry and Land Administration Training Center attended the event. A total of 79 officers posted as Assistant Commissioner (Land) of 37th and 38th batch of BCS administration cadre participated in the 5-week long Basic Land Management Course.
