Earlier on Friday, street protests took place in different parts of the country. The students stayed in the Science lab intersection of the capital. They gathered at Shahbagh intersection to make the mass march called by a section of the anti-discrimination student movement a success. Meanwhile, Chhatra League leaders and activists were seen taking a position near the Science lab intersection. Police members were also on alert.
