Earlier, the central Shahid Minar area of the capital turned into a sea of crowds demanding realization of 9-point demands, including justice for the killings of those killed in the violence surrounding the quota reform movement. At this time, the agitators joined the Shaheed Minar with various anti-government slogans, including the resignation of the current government, with a procession from different places of the capital.
The entire area including Shaheed Minar became agitated with the slogans of the protesters. Rickshaw drivers were also seen chanting slogans along with the protestors.
At 3 pm, the protest march of the agitators was supposed to take place at the foot of the central Shaheed Minar, but the protesting students came to the Shaheed Minar area before that and started gathering.
Earlier on Friday, Abdul Hannan Masud, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, announced the program in a video message. At the same time, the protesting students have announced a 'total non-cooperation program' from Sunday.
