Students detained a person with a bag full of money in Uttara of the capital.
The vehicle (Dhaka Metro-G-15-1581) was intercepted at the Dhaka-Mymensingh signal in Uttara House Building area on Wednesday (August 7) at 3:30 pm.
A student named Fardin said, after seeing a suspicious bag inside the car, we opened it and seized the vehicle after finding the money.
It can be seen on the ground that a person named Masood Alam in the Jeep was arrested and surrounded by the students at Uttara Town College. According to the latest information, the Armed forces entered the place at 4:50 pm and are interrogating the person. On the other hand, the students said that the driver of the car fled.
Sakhawat Hossain, administrative officer of Uttara Town College, said that the jeep has a sticker of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The person claimed that the money was the salary of his office employees. The person said that there were two and a half crores in the bag.
