Kuwait will take doctors, nurses and engineers from Bangladesh

Faisal Mulaq Aladwani, the outgoing ambassador of Kuwait in Dhaka met Chief Adviser of the Interim Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

In the meeting held on Tuesday (September 3), the ambassador said that Kuwait will take skilled workers from Bangladesh.

Besides, the country wants to take doctors, nurses and engineers. The ambassador of Kuwait said that more than three lakh Bangladeshis are working in Kuwait and the Gulf region. More than five thousand Bangladeshi soldiers are also deployed in Kuwait.

At the meeting Dr. Yunus said, thanks to Kuwait for humanitarian assistance to the Rohingyas.

He spoke of increasing support for energy and investment over the next two decades. The Chief Adviser also expressed optimism about developing close relations with the country.

Cooperation on economy, defense, Rohingya crisis, Palestine issue and energy cooperation were also highlighted during the meeting.
