A set of instructions by the Chief Adviser to build a new Bangladesh

The Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus of the Interim Government has given a set of instructions to root out corruption and make the service easier for the people to build a new Bangladesh.

He gave these instructions in the meeting held with the Secretaries on Wednesday (September 4). This information has been reported from the press wing of the Chief Adviser.

The instructions given by the Chief Adviser in the meeting are as follows:

>> In formulating the reform program, discussions and opinions should be taken with the concerned parties as required.

>> Following the July-August mass uprising, we have to build a new Bangladesh with honesty, devotion and accountability, standing on the conviction and fearless spirit that the students gave us in the July-August uprising to build a humane country without discrimination.

>> In order to build a new Bangladesh, it is necessary to get out of the rigid thinking, reform the thinking and conduct government activities with the highest importance to the public interest in a creative way.

>> By rooting out corruption, by facilitating services, maximum satisfaction of the people should be achieved.

>> To ensure optimal utilization of public funds.

>> Fair competition should be ensured in government procurement and obstacles should be removed to ensure transparency, accountability.

>> With a creative, citizen-friendly mindset, each Ministry or Division will submit time-bound action plans for short, medium and long-term reform programs, which will be regularly evaluated or monitored.

>> The interest and positive perception that has been created worldwide about the new Bangladesh created by the mass uprising of the students should be utilized in the best way for the sake of the country.
