Tomorrow's 'Martyr’s March' program is anti-discrimination student movement

The anti-discrimination student movement will hold a Martyr's March across the country on Thursday (September 5) in memory of those killed in the anti-quota movement.

Sarjis Alam, one of the coordinators of the organization, announced this program in a press conference at Dhaka University's TSC on Wednesday (August 4).

He said that 'Martyr’s March' program will be held across the country on Thursday in memory of those injured and killed in the anti-quota movement. The program will start centrally from Raju Sculpture at 3 pm.

Sarjis said that the program will start from Raju Sculpture, go through New Market, Manik Mia Avenue, Karwan Bazar and Shahbagh to the Central Shaheed Minar.

In the press conference, another coordinator, Abu Bakar Majumdar, said that the student movement will work for national security. But the law cannot be taken on one's hand. Justice must be ensured through law enforcement.

He also said that those involved in the killing will not be spared. We are forming a team to identify them. The future Bangladesh will be formed as the people want. The anti-discrimination student movement will be reorganized nationwide. The objective will be to prevent extortion and corruption.
