After repairing the technical fault, the metro rail movement has started.
The movement of this vehicle started on Wednesday (September 18) from 8:25 pm to the relief of the residents of the capital.
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), the Metrorail managing company, confirmed this in a Facebook post.
It is said in the Facebook post, 'Metrorail movement from Uttara North to Motijheel has been normal from 08:25 tonight after resolving the technical error. The Metrorail authorities are sincerely sorry for the temporary inconvenience to the esteemed passengers in the Metrorail movement.
Earlier in the morning, authorities found that a bearing pad or spring had moved from under a Metrorail viaduct, causing the route alignment of the viaduct to shift slightly. Due to the risk of movement, the metro rail movement on the Agargaon-Motijheel route was stopped immediately.
